HOME EFFICIENCY INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Chicopee Electric Light offers Home Efficiency rebates on efficient home upgrades such as insulation and duct sealing through the NextZero Program. Please schedule an Energy Audit before having your contractor start your project(s) by clicking here, or call 888-333-7525. We encourage you to proceed with the installation of those efficiency measures listed on your NextZero Home Energy Report that best suit your energy needs.

General rule for cost-effective home efficiency

Insulate and air-seal first. (Ask the auditor for a list of firms providing air-sealing services.)

Chicopee Electric Light can reimburse you 50% of installed cost, up to $500 per project (maximum of $2,000 per customer, per year), for the following:

Blower Door Test and Air Sealing
Qualified Energy Star Rated Heating Systems
Insulation
Duct Sealing

***Self-installed project(s) are not eligible for rebate***

After the measure(s) installation, contact NextZero at 888-333-7525 to schedule a post installation inspection. The inspector will conduct a site visit and complete the required inspection form. The inspection must be performed before applying for the incentive.

The program will run until the designated funds are depleted, at CEL's discretion and without further notice.
